The company disposes of a plethora of drilling rigs, multipurpose as well as conventional ones. In the drilling equipment are included:
One rotary, core borehole rig on crawlers, type Atlas Copco’s Diamec U6, with all the necessary accompanying drilling equipment as well as the equipment for the in situ test.
The drill rig is on crawlers, so it is possible to approach any sampling point despite the approach feasibility with other means. The core rotary drill rig is able to drill toward any direction. Hence it is possible to obtain cores in any place and of any type of soil.

An essential advantage of our equipment, unique in the Greek market, is the conformity with the safety specifications of EU as shown in the corresponding certificate that makes us pioneers in our field. The company can execute deep core boreholes by the wire-line method of 500m maximal depth with HQ core diameter.

One modern, rotary, drill rig on crawlers, type Mustang 9-H5 , suitable for core boreholes as well as for destructive drillings for instruments application. It is possible to execute boreholes using downthe-hole hammer of 15” max diameter and 9t lifting capacity. The drilling machine can drill in any direction and, using the “symmetrix” system, can execute drillings in “difficult” soil conditions with simultaneous casing.

We have carried out successfully the special exploratory drillings, such as 250m deep core boreholes for the Ilarionas dam for PPC, with vertical deviation smaller than 2.5%, inclined drillings of 60m in a landslide at the Viltaniotis dam in Crete, horizontal drillings in the southern portal of Kallidromo tunnel, boreholes of max depth 255m for the Panagopoula Railway Tunnel area and 267m for the motorway tunnel.

Apart from the above mentioned multi purpose drilling rigs, the company possesses as well conventional drilling rigs of great capacity in perfect condition such as :
– One core borehole rotary rig type Boyles BBS 37A on a Mercedes two axles truck (4×2)
– One core borehole rotary rig type Boyles BBS 38 on a Mercedes two axles truck (4×4)
– One core borehole rotary rig type Boyles BBS 17A on a Mercedes two axles truck (4×2)
– One core borehole rotary rig type JOY 22 on a MAN two axles truck (4×4)
– One core borehole rotary rig type Acker Mountaineer on a MAN four axles truck (8×8) or on sled.

Moreover the following equipment for in situ tests is available.
– Pressuremeter APAGEO of type G, (virtual gas guard cells) and for the control and the recording of the applied pressures, state
of the art apparatus of PREVO type and recorder BAP 160 are used, both manufactured by “Jean Lutz SA” in France.
– Inclinometer measurement system of SISGEO S.r.l. Italy.

The following self owned trucks and tank trucks are included in the drilling equipment, necessary for the prompt water supply and the rest of the needs for the drillings.
– Truck (4×4) for the transport of the Diamec U6 drilling rig with detachable tank of 10 t.
– Truck for the transport of the Boyles 17A drilling rig with non detachable tank of 5 t.
– Truck for the transport of a Boyles 37A drilling rig with non detachable tank of 4 t.
– Truck (8×8) for equipment transportation with the option to convert in a water tank truck with non detachable coach that carries
a crane of 17t lifting capacity type Fassi 660XP.
– Tank truck of 12 t of two axles, Mercedes 1720.
– Tank truck of 2 t.
– Three axles tractor with low profile platform of 19m for equipment transportation
– Six pick up cars 4Χ4, type Mitsubishi L200 for personnel transportation.
